Daphne is a writer, translator, massage therapist, jewellery maker and passionate, if sometimes reluctant yogi. She has a collection of largely impractical qualifications, including a BA in Contemporary Arts, an MA in Creative & Life Writing, and an ITEC Diploma in Holistic Massage, and would really like to carry on and get a PhD in something just as impractical. Her writing has appeared in a number of publications, online and in print, and won a few (mostly minor) awards. One of her multiple identities, This Reluctant Yogi, also maintains a blog about her adventures in the yoga world.
She recently left a perfectly lovely life in London, made herself homeless and unemployed, and moved to Greece to dedicate herself to writing. Having finally come to terms with her obnoxious, reclusive author persona, she now lives and writes alone on a remote Greek island, in a move described, variably, as "brave", "insane" and "stupid" (none of which are mutually exclusive). She has dubbed this project 100 days of solitude and its outcome will either be a book (or several), or irreversible social ineptitude (again, not mutually exclusive).
